NoTrack review: one undisclosed uncensored model, no signup, and a contradictory privacy story

Free anonymous web chat plus an API for one uncensored model at $0.15 / $0.50 per 1M tokens. No signup, but its own pages disagree on whether prompts are kept.

NoTrack is a free, anonymous uncensored web chat with a prepaid API on the side. There’s no account and no model picker: everything runs on a single model called notrack-uncensored, which NoTrack says it hosts on its own GPUs. It doesn’t say what that model is built on.

This review is based on NoTrack’s published pricing, model information, and policies, checked on October 11–12, 2026. Benchmark results from our own runs will be added when they’re complete. Live numbers are on the NoTrack provider page.

Models

We list one model: notrack-uncensored, with a 100K context window. NoTrack doesn’t name the base model, its size, or how it was uncensored. We mark it “Unverified” until we test it.

NoTrack markets the model as “99.9% uncensored”. Its restrictions page still lists 10 restricted items, from content involving minors and mass-harm weapons to malware and fraud “at scale”, plus an adults-only rule. That’s a normal set of limits for a hosted service, but it’s more than the headline suggests.

Search it on the Models page.

Pricing

The web chat is free. The API runs on a prepaid balance billed per token:

  • $0.15 / $0.50 per 1M tokens (input / output)
  • about $0.40 per 1,000 chats (1,000 tokens in, 500 out)

New API keys get a $0.50 trial that lasts 7 days. Top-ups start at $5. There’s no subscription. The API is OpenAI-compatible.

Privacy

NoTrack scores 30 / 100 on our privacy rubric, which only gives points for documented claims:

Rubric item NoTrack Points
Prompt retention Privacy policy says chat messages are kept 30 days, with IP and country logged 0 / 20
No training on prompts Stated 15 / 15
Technical guarantee (TEE / E2EE) None; policy only 0 / 20
Signup None 8 / 8
Crypto payments USDT and USDC 7 / 7
Jurisdiction Not stated 0 / 10
Upstream hosts disclosed Claims its own GPUs; base model undisclosed 0 / 10
Independent audit No 0 / 10

The main problem is a contradiction between NoTrack’s own pages. The API page says prompts and replies are never stored. The privacy policy says chat messages are deleted after 30 days and that IP address and country are logged. It’s possible the two cover different products (web chat and API), but neither page says so. We score the stricter, written policy, which is why retention gets zero.

The policy names the operator as SEMALT LLC. It gives no jurisdiction. The homepage also runs a sponsored VPN ad, which is worth knowing on a site whose name is a privacy promise.

Access and payment

  • Free web chat with no account.
  • OpenAI-compatible API with prepaid credit.
  • Card (via Stripe) or crypto (USDT or USDC).
  • Another service, RoleplayAPI, has identical pricing and trial terms. It may be the same operator; we haven’t confirmed that.

How it compares

  • Also no signup, more choice: NanoGPT (privacy 35) needs no account and lists 139 uncensored models, from $0.03 / $0.10. PayPerQ (45) also works without an account and sells GLM 4.7 Flash Heretic at about $0.28 per 1,000 chats.
  • More private on paper: Unfil.ai (50) also needs no email and says API prompts aren’t stored, with 12 named models from $0.30 / $0.40.
  • Named company, free tier: Venice.ai (55) has a no-logging policy, a jurisdiction, and 10 free prompts a day, though it needs an account.

Verdict

NoTrack is easy to try: no account, a free chat, and an API trial with no card. The price is reasonable for a model you know nothing about.

That’s the catch. You don’t know what the model is, where the operator is based, or which of its two storage statements applies to you. Use it for low-stakes chat. For anything sensitive, pick a provider whose policy and product pages agree.
