Abliteration.ai is an API and playground for its own abliterated models, pitched at red-teaming, trust and safety, and synthetic data work. It’s a small lineup (we list 3 models), but an influential one: its models are resold by Venice, NanoGPT, and developer platforms including Opper, Puter and Mastra. If you’ve used “Abliterated Large” somewhere else, it probably came from here.
This review is based on Abliteration.ai’s published pricing, model list, and policies, checked on October 11, 2026. Benchmark results from our own runs will be added when they’re complete. Live numbers are on the Abliteration.ai provider page.

| Per-token price | $1 / $3 to $3 / $5 per 1M tokens (input / output) |
| Plans | Free trial, prepaid top-ups, or Developer $20 / Growth $50 / Scale $200 per month |

Models
All three models are abliterated:
- abliterated-model ($1 / $3), with a 256K context window. Abliteration.ai doesn’t say which model it’s based on.
- abliterated-model-large ($3 / $5): GLM-5.2, abliterated and then fine-tuned, with a 1M context window.
- abliterated-model-large-v2 ($3 / $5): the same treatment on GLM-5.3, also with 1M context.
The large models are some of the biggest abliterated models you can call over an API, and 1M tokens of context is among the longest in our index. The trade-off is price: $3 / $5 is well above most community abliterations, which usually run on 8B to 70B models.
Venice sells the large v2 model as “Abliterated Large V2” at the same $3 / $5. NanoGPT sells all three at the same prices too. Search them on the Models page.
Pricing
Billing is per token from one prepaid USD balance. Cached input is billed at 10% of the input price ($0.10 or $0.30 per 1M). A typical short chat (1,000 tokens in, 500 out) costs:
- about $2.50 per 1,000 chats on abliterated-model
- about $5.50 per 1,000 chats on either large model
You can buy credit two ways:
- Prepaid top-ups from $20, or custom amounts from $1 in the console.
- Monthly plans: Developer $20, Growth $50 and Scale $200. Each includes the same amount in usage credit, plus a 2.5%, 5% or 10% discount on usage and higher rate limits. Unused credit doesn’t expire.
Its pricing page offers a free trial with no card required. Web search is extra, at $8 per 1,000 searches.
Privacy
Abliteration.ai scores 48 / 100 on our privacy rubric, which only gives points for documented claims:
| Rubric item | Abliteration.ai | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Prompt retention | Processed transiently, not stored by default | 20 / 20 |
| No training on prompts | Stated | 15 / 15 |
| Technical guarantee (TEE / E2EE) | None; relies on policy | 0 / 20 |
| Signup | Account required | 3 / 8 |
| Crypto payments | No | 0 / 7 |
| Jurisdiction | Delaware, US | 10 / 10 |
| Upstream hosts disclosed | No | 0 / 10 |
| Independent audit | No | 0 / 10 |
That puts it in the top third of the index. It has a dedicated data-handling page, which says prompts and completions aren’t stored by default and are never used for training. It keeps telemetry such as token counts, timestamps and errors. Hosting is in the US by default, with EU data residency as an option.
The points it misses are for a technical guarantee, crypto payments, upstream disclosure and an audit. If you call these models through a reseller, that reseller’s policy applies as well, so going direct is the only way to get these exact terms.
Access and payment
- Web playground and an OpenAI-compatible API. It also accepts Anthropic’s Messages format.
- Account required.
- Card payments.
- Operated by Abliteration AI, Inc., incorporated in March 2026.
The company has drawn attention. TechCrunch covered it in September 2026, including the harmful outputs its models could produce. Abliteration.ai markets the models for red-teaming and safety testing.
How it compares
- Same models, no account: NanoGPT sells all three at the same prices with crypto and no signup, but scores 35 on privacy and doesn’t name a jurisdiction.
- Same large model, crypto accepted: Venice (55) sells Abliterated Large V2 at $3 / $5 and also has much cheaper uncensored models from $0.07 / $0.40.
- Cheaper GLM-5.3 abliteration: Unjailed AI sells glm-5.3-abliterated at $1.60 / $6.40, but from an unnamed operator that doesn’t say where the model came from.
Verdict
Abliteration.ai is a straightforward choice for developers who want large abliterated models with 1M context and clear written terms. It’s a named US company with a no-storage, no-training policy, and you’re getting the models from the source rather than through a reseller.
It isn’t cheap, it only takes cards, and the standard model’s base is undisclosed. For casual use, smaller abliterated models elsewhere cost a fraction as much.
