Uncensored.chat is an uncensored chat app with characters, image generation, voice, and an OpenAI-style API on its higher tiers. It only takes crypto, there’s no KYC, and you pay in 30-day blocks that don’t auto-renew. We list 2 uncensored models, and neither has a disclosed base.
This review is based on Uncensored.chat’s published pricing, model list, and policies, checked on October 28, 2026. Benchmark results from our own runs will be added when they’re complete. Live numbers are on the Uncensored.chat provider page.
The short version
| Best for | Uncensored chat paid in crypto, with no subscription to cancel |
| Uncensored models | 2 (both undisclosed) |
| Per-token price | None: token bundles, about $0.99 to $9 per 1M tokens |
| Plans | Free trial (2,000 tokens), Basic $9, Standard $69, Premium $99 per 30 days; Lifetime $99 once |
| Privacy score | 35 / 100, joint 18th of 35 |
| Watch out for | Undisclosed models, a privacy policy that contradicts the 24-hour deletion claim, and conflicting refund terms |
Models
There are two models: uncensored-v3 and uncensored-v2. Uncensored.chat doesn’t say what they’re based on or how they were uncensored, so both are marked “Unverified” until we test them. Its API docs say any model name it doesn’t recognize is served by v3.
That’s thin, even for a chat-first service. You can’t compare these models with anything else in our index on paper, and there’s no context window or parameter count to go on. Search them on the Models page.
Pricing
Every plan is a one-time crypto payment that lasts 30 days, except Lifetime. Nothing renews automatically.
| Plan | Price | Tokens | API |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0 | 2,000 | No |
| Basic | $9 / 30 days | 1M | No (web only) |
| Standard | $69 / 30 days | 10M | Yes |
| Premium | $99 / 30 days | 100M | Yes |
| Lifetime | $99 once | 10M a month | No (web only) |
The effective price varies a lot. Standard works out to about $6.90 per 1M tokens, while Premium is about $0.99 per 1M: seven times cheaper for $30 more. If you use all of Premium’s tokens, a typical short chat (1,000 tokens in, 500 out) costs about $1.49 per 1,000 chats. On Standard it’s about $10.35.
For API use, Premium gives ten times Standard’s tokens for $30 more. For web chat only, Basic or Lifetime cover it. Higher plans also include more voice minutes and higher rate limits.
The site says plans are non-refundable, while its plan lists still mention a refund policy. Treat any payment as final.
Privacy
Uncensored.chat scores 35 / 100 on our privacy rubric, which only gives points for documented claims:
| Rubric item | Uncensored.chat | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Prompt retention | Policy keeps data while your account is active | 0 / 20 |
| No training on prompts | Stated | 15 / 15 |
| Technical guarantee (TEE / E2EE) | None; relies on policy | 0 / 20 |
| Signup | Account required (free trial needs no card) | 3 / 8 |
| Crypto payments | Crypto only (BTC, ETH, USDC) | 7 / 7 |
| Jurisdiction | India (governing law) | 10 / 10 |
| Upstream hosts disclosed | No | 0 / 10 |
| Independent audit | No | 0 / 10 |
The site says chats are auto-deleted after 24 hours, and the API docs say prompt and completion content isn’t logged or used for training. Crypto-only payment with no KYC also keeps your identity out of the billing.
The privacy policy tells a different story. It keeps data as long as your account is active, which conflicts with the 24-hour claim, so retention scores zero. It also says inputs and outputs go to unnamed third-party model providers, while the docs say the chat and API run on Uncensored.chat’s own GPUs. The policy and terms name ModelsLab as the operator, under Indian law, though the registered office address is left blank.
Access and payment
- Web chat with characters, image generation and voice.
- OpenAI-compatible API on Standard and Premium only.
- Crypto only: BTC, ETH or USDC. No card, no KYC.
- 30-day blocks with no auto-renewal.
How it compares
- Known models, pay per token: NanoGPT (35) takes crypto from $0.10, needs no account, and lists 137 uncensored models with published per-token prices.
- Similar branded chat: NoFilterGPT (32) has a free tier of 7 messages a day and a $11.99/mo plan with API access, also for a single undisclosed model.
- More private on paper: Venice (55) doesn’t store API prompts, names its company and jurisdiction, and takes crypto.
Verdict
Uncensored.chat suits people who want uncensored chat without a card, an identity check or a recurring charge. The site promises 24-hour chat deletion, but its privacy policy keeps data while your account is active, so don’t count on it. Premium works out under $1 per 1M tokens if you use it all.
Everything else is hard to evaluate. Two models with no stated base, a privacy policy that contradicts the site’s own claims, and contradictory refund terms leave a lot to trust. Try the free 2,000 tokens before you send any crypto.
